Aangan Ka Swaad (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs a home-style, pure vegetarian cloud kitchen. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, why we collect it and how we keep it safe. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Order details – the dishes, quantities and amount of your order.
• Contact and delivery details – your name, phone number, delivery address and any instructions you add.
• Location – only if you tap “Allow” when your browser asks, we read your current location once so our delivery partner can reach you. You can decline and simply type your address.
• Payment reference – the UPI transaction ID / UTR you enter so we can match your payment. We never see or store your UPI PIN, bank account or card details; payments happen inside your own UPI app.
• Messages – anything you send us on WhatsApp, phone or email.

How your order is sent to us

When you place an order, the website prepares a message and opens it in WhatsApp on your device; the order reaches us only when you press Send. That message is handled under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.

Information stored on your device

To make ordering easier, your cart and your name, phone and address are saved in your own browser (local storage) so you don’t have to type them again. Your location is kept only for the current browsing session. You can clear these at any time from your browser settings or by using “Clear cart”.

How we use your information

• To prepare, confirm and deliver your order and to contact you about it.
• To verify your payment and handle refunds or complaints.
• To improve our food, menu and service.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send you promotional messages without your consent.

Sharing

We share only what is needed to serve you: your name, phone number and address/location with the person delivering your order, and information with authorities if required by law. If you order through Swiggy, Zomato or Toing, those platforms’ own privacy policies apply to that order.

Cookies and third-party services

Our website uses only the essentials needed to work properly. Fonts and some images are loaded from trusted third-party services (such as Google Fonts and image hosting), which may receive basic technical information like your IP address, as with any website.

Data retention and security

We keep order details only as long as needed for delivery, accounting, legal and dispute purposes, and take reasonable steps to protect them. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
